Kansas City Chiefs vs Seattle Seahawks – NFL Prediction
Match Preview
Running back Kenneth Walker III facing his former team after leaving Seattle for Kansas City in March is the headline narrative everyone is watching. Kansas City comes into Week 7 rolling at 5-0 to top the AFC West, while Seattle is desperately searching for answers after dropping two straight games. Can Seattle stop their former Super Bowl MVP on the ground? Based on how both teams are playing right now, I have my doubts.

What I love about this Kansas City squad is how balanced they look on offense. They aren’t just throwing it around; they are pounding opponents on the ground to the tune of around 160 rushing yards per game.
Look at their recent game log. They blew out Denver 31-10, won a 33-30 battle with Indianapolis, and completely suffocated the Chargers 22-6 last time out. A massive part of that success is Walker, who is averaging 113 rushing yards a game and already has six touchdowns against stacked boxes. Averaging under a turnover per game keeps them in total control of game flow. Even with Travis Kelce and Rashee Rice listed as questionable, this group just keeps winning football games.
Seattle Seahawks – Team Analysis

Seattle’s main problem right now is simple: they cannot stop turning the ball over. First-year offensive coordinator Brian Fleury is struggling to get this group into a groove, and averaging 2.4 giveaways per game is complete poison. It is the exact reason they just lost tight battles to Denver 17-14 and San Francisco 32-29. You cannot hand the ball to the opponent multiple times a week in the NFL and expect to come out on top.
Can they fix these mistakes at home? I am not buying a sudden turnaround against a physical, undefeated opponent.
Head-to-Head Record

| 2026-08-29 | Pre Season | Kansas City Chiefs vs Seattle Seahawks | 9-9 | Draw |
| 2025-08-16 | Pre Season | Seattle Seahawks vs Kansas City Chiefs | 33-16 | Seattle Seahawks |
| 2022-12-24 | Regular Season | Kansas City Chiefs vs Seattle Seahawks | 24-10 | Kansas City Chiefs |
| Team | Wins |

| Draws | 1 |
| Seattle Seahawks | 1 |
These franchises fought to a 9-9 draw in August, but August football doesn’t tell us much about October reality. Seattle took a 33-16 matchup in August 2025, while Kansas City picked up a 24-10 victory back in December 2022. Past head-to-head results do not carry much weight for me here because Kansas City’s current rushing power makes them a completely different squad.

Betting Analysis & Tips
| Market | Selection | Odds |
|---|---|---|
| Moneyline | Kansas City Chiefs | 2.15 |
| Moneyline | Seattle Seahawks | 1.62 |
| Total | Over/Under | 42.5 |
The oddsmakers put Seattle at 1.62 favorites, but I disagree with that line and side with experts like Bobby Kownack and Albert Breer. Getting Kansas City at 2.15 on the moneyline is tremendous value for an undefeated team with elite turnover margin. I also like the over on the 42.5 total line given Kansas City’s ability to rack up yards.
Final Prediction
My gut says Kansas City dictates the pace on the ground and hands Seattle another tough loss. Give me Kansas City on the moneyline at 2.15. Seattle’s turnover troubles make them far too risky to back right now.
