Arsenal continued their flawless run in the UEFA Champions League with a convincing 3-1 away victory over Inter Milan on Tuesday night.

The Gunners made a fast start at San Siro and took the lead in the 10th minute when Gabriel Jesus slid in to turn home a loose ball after Jurrien Timber’s effort caused problems in the Inter penalty area. The hosts responded quickly, however, as Petar Sučić leveled the score in the 18th minute with a powerful strike from the edge of the box.

Arsenal regained control before halftime. Jesus struck again in the 32nd minute, rising above the defense to head in from a corner kick and restore the visitors’ advantage. Despite Inter pushing for an equalizer after the break, Arsenal’s defense remained composed and limited clear chances.

The result was put beyond doubt in the 84th minute when substitute Viktor Gyökeres capitalized on a loose ball outside the area and unleashed a stunning shot into the top corner, sealing a memorable win for the Premier League side.

With the victory, Arsenal moved to 21 points and became the first team to secure a top-eight finish and automatic qualification for the Champions League round of 16. Inter remain on 12 points and currently sit ninth in the league-phase standings.

Arsenal now turn their attention to a domestic clash against Manchester United on Sunday, while Inter return to Serie A action on Friday against Pisa.
