X means a draw, where neither team wins and the match ends level after regular time.
It is the standard notation used in 1X2 betting markets.
How it works
-
1 = Home win
-
X = Draw
-
2 = Away win
-
Applies only to regular time, unless stated otherwise
Example
-
Final score: 1–1
-
Bet: X
→ Bet wins
Key characteristics
-
Typically higher odds than home or away wins
-
Common in football and some combat sports
-
Excludes extra time and penalties by default
Important note
A draw after 90 minutes still settles as X even if a winner is later decided in extra time or penalties.
