X (Draw)

X means a draw, where neither team wins and the match ends level after regular time.

It is the standard notation used in 1X2 betting markets.

How it works

  • 1 = Home win

  • X = Draw

  • 2 = Away win

  • Applies only to regular time, unless stated otherwise

Example

  • Final score: 1–1

  • Bet: X
    → Bet wins

Key characteristics

  • Typically higher odds than home or away wins

  • Common in football and some combat sports

  • Excludes extra time and penalties by default

Important note
A draw after 90 minutes still settles as X even if a winner is later decided in extra time or penalties.
